Member-only story
I am sure everyone can relate.
We have all been there, at rock bottom — in a dark and scary place where anxiety and depression hit us. It could even be the case that you are in one of these dark places right now. It could be failing school despite studying hard. Parents fighting at home on the verge of divorce. Maybe your significant other broke up with you or someone dear to you passed away. It could even be being in debt and losing every penny you have in your bank account.
There are many scenarios and many depressing things that can happen. But hey, we are just human. It is normal to feel all these things and it is normal that time is needed to recover from being in such a situation. It is okay to take your time to recover. We all know time does not heal every wound we have in our soul.
It is impossible to compare everyones problems because each problem weight a person down as much.
I like to see every situation like these like a coin. Why? Because unfortunately you will get beaten down by it and keep getting beaten up by life, or fortunately you recover and take it as a lesson and get stronger.
I am not saying you have to get back up on your feet instantly, however take your time to recover until you feel ready to start moving forward. I understand how much it hurts and how bad it all feels…
